As an Accountant, you will play a critical role in continuing the healing mission of Deaconess.
Job Overview:
The Staff Accountant works with the Accounting Team to process Month End/Year End; create journal entries, statistic calculations and reporting, assist ancillary departments with financial reporting questions.
Duties assigned are performed under the oversight of the Controller.
This position is involved in preparation for Medicare Cost Reporting, fulfilling audit requests, competing capital requests and assisting Controller/CFO in special projects.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
Hospital Accounting experience a plus, enthusiasm to join a growing health system.
