```Duties```
- Process and post customer payments to the appropriate accounts
- Prepare and send out customer invoices
- Monitor and follow up on outstanding accounts receivable balances
- Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or issues with customer accounts
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions and communications related to accounts receivable
- Assist with month-end closing activities, including reconciling accounts receivable balances
```Experience```
- Strong math skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Proficient in 10-key typing for accurate data entry
- Familiarity with revenue cycle management processes
- Ability to perform credit analysis and negotiate payment terms with customers
- Understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance requirements
- Knowledge of medical terminology and ICD-10 coding is a plus
- Experience in governmental accounting is preferred
