Account Receivable Specialist

```Duties``` - Process and post customer payments to the appropriate accounts - Prepare and send out customer invoices - Monitor and follow up on outstanding accounts receivable balances - Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or issues with customer accounts - Maintain accurate records of all transactions and communications related to accounts receivable - Assist with month-end closing activities, including reconciling accounts receivable balances ```Experience``` - Strong math skills and attention to detail - Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) - Proficient in 10-key typing for accurate data entry - Familiarity with revenue cycle management processes - Ability to perform credit analysis and negotiate payment terms with customers - Understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance requirements - Knowledge of medical terminology and ICD-10 coding is a plus - Experience in governmental accounting is preferred As an Accounts Receivable Clerk, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely collection of payments from customers.
Your attention to detail and strong math skills will be essential in accurately processing payments and resolving any issues that may arise.
Additionally, your knowledge of GAAP and revenue cycle management will help you maintain accurate records and contribute to the month-end closing process.
