Purpose: The Proposal Cost/Price Analyst 2 supports proposal preparation, proposal cost volume development, cost estimation, and total evaluated price optimization with proposal teams, while ensuring compliance to FAR/TINA/CAS guidelines.
Major Position Responsibilities: Review Requests for Proposals (RFP) and proposal documents for compliance to customer specifications/ requirements for cost\price and formulate questions for customer response Assist in creation of estimating templates for input by proposal team members and consolidating and analyzing results Provide reviews of cost estimates prior to delivery and review by senior management Facilitate consolidation of supporting data packages for customer review and Government audit Assist in preparation of financial briefs and participate in proposal Participates in fact-finding and contract negotiations both locally and at customer location on smaller proposals.
Assists in the formulation of negotiation strategies to meet company objectives Prepares TINA certification sweep analysis and documentation Able to interface with all levels of employees and management.

may be required to interface within industry and customer communities at a commensurate level Financial analysis and problem solving: understanding of the implications of TINA and the most commonly applied FAR/DFARs an ability to read and understand less commonly applied FAR/DFAR/local contract clauses an understanding of CAS Intermediate analytical skills including statistical concepts such as weighted averages, the ability to use standard learning curve models, basic understanding of correlation coefficient factors, and variance Preparation and management of fully compliant cost/pricing models and deliverable volumes, including the coordination and review of key inputs such as bills of material, Labor BOEs and hours, freight matrices, etc.
Includes analysis of historical costs and performance, cost input efficacy, cost, and schedule relationships, etc.
Assist in the completion of proposal presentation packages and lead pricing and financial reviews with management.

Other duties as assigned #LI-CF2 Basic Qualifications: Required Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance Preferred Education: Master’s Degree/MBA Years and area of experience (required for the role): 2+ years Government Contracting experience in Program, Finance and\or Lead Pricing roles OR equivalent combination for education and experience FAR, DFAR, Cost Accounting Standards Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Critical Professional related Technical Skills; Computer Skills: Advanced Excel Modelling Skills Expert Analytical Skills Excellent Written and Presentation Skills ProPricer experience and skills a plus Have intermediate skills in email/scheduling software, MS WORD, MS POWERPOINT along with intermediate skills in MS Excel to include working with multiple workbooks, databases, statistics, and formulas Other Requirements: Working knowledge of DOD acquisition regulations Must be able to perform tasks with little direct supervision Pay Range (USD): $80-$100 Benefits: Employees are eligible for medical, dental, vision, short and long-term disability, and basic life insurance as well as pre-tax spending accounts.
