Corporate Accounting Position:
Accountant for multi-faceted management/administrative services company.
Fulltime, competitive salary and benefits.
Responsibilities require a working knowledge of general ledger, financial and accounting software applications, advanced spreadsheet skills, excellent written and oral communications, organizational skills and an ability to recognize issues and present solutions.
Assist in month-end closing, prepare journal entries as necessary, and analyze inventory and accruals.
This position requires handling multiple projects simultaneously under the supervision of the VP of Accounting.
This is a hands-on position that will direct and oversee all facets of Financial Reporting, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, Payroll, Audit and Tax.
This position will have responsibility for centralized Accounting and Finance functions responsible for multiple locations, as well as to facilitate knowledge sharing and consistency of best practices across the entire organization.
Working knowledge of financial and management accounting, as well as a complete understanding of legal entity relations and intercompany accounting.
Knowledge of the media business will put you ahead but not required – training will be provided.
Minimum requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance or 5 years related job experience required in accounting or financial analysis.
Must be fully computer literate.
This position is in an open office environment and also requires limited travel, sometimes overnight.

Pay: $45,000.
