Responsible for multiple areas of accounting activities within the function.
Second highest position in the Controller’s department.
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Lead monthly & annual financial close
Assist in the preparation of financial statements
Reconcile balance sheet accounts monthly
Review work of other accountants
Assist with occasional accounts receivable tasks including cash posting, collection, etc.
Inventory tasks and reconciliations
Assist with the annual audit
Auditing expense reports
Assist with maintenance of financial controls within the company
Perform ad-hoc reporting for management as required.
Other responsibilities as needed
Adhere to established company values, practices, policies and procedures always.
Follow and support compliance with all applicable safety rules, laws, regulations, and standards.
Education / Experience / Certifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required
3+ years of related work experience in manufacturing preferred
Workflow implementation/experience preferred
ERP experience
Expensify experience preferred
