I have a Pontiac 455 crankshaft for sale that was salvaged several years ago.
It has been wrapped, taped and sealed in plastic and all the journals greased and sprayed with WD-40.
It has been garage kept.
One rod journal has been a little warm with the metal turning blue.
I am pretty sure that a .
010 turn would clean it up.
The crank is not rusted and I will provide a picture if interested.
