*SUMMARY*
The Customer Service & Concessions Staff at the Super Splash Park in Carbondale, Illinois, is responsible for providing food service at the Super Splash Park concession stand and maintaining the facility.
*SUPERVISION*
Staff report directly to the Super Splash Park Manager, Assistant Managers, and the Recreation Superintendent.

Bloodborne pathogen training
Harassment Training

*ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS*
Follow all Carbondale Park District safety policies and perform all work in a manner that ensures the safety of the public, fellow employees, and themselves
Concession sales
Daily cleaning and maintenance of the food service area and equipment
Food preparation, proper storage, and inventory
Compliance with opening and closing procedures to include inventory and cash control procedures
Serve the public and work with fellow staff in a courteous and efficient manner
*MARGINAL FUNCTIONS*
Check all equipment and supplies and report any repairs or needs to Recreation Staff or to the Super Splash Park Manager on duty immediately
Run concession cash drawers
Assist with daily facility upkeep
Compliance with opening and closing procedures to include inventory and cash control procedures
Serve the public in a courteous, pleasant, and efficient manner
*PSYCHOLOGICAL CONSIDERATIONS*
Must be able to provide good customer service to all patrons at the facility
Must be able to work under stressful conditions when first aid treatment is required

Must be able to respond quickly and accurately
May be exposed to cleaning products
*ENVIRONMENTAL CONSIDERATIONS*
Must be able to stand for long periods of time
Must be able to work indoor and outdoors, as needed
*COGNITIVE CONSIDERATIONS*
Must possess good safety awareness and judgment
Must have extensive knowledge of all Park District rules and regulations
*QUALIFICATIONS*
Must be at least 16 years of age
Ability to effectively communicate with the public and staff and work cooperatively and harmoniously with people in an enthusiastic manner
Ability to calculate cash transactions and make change
Ability and aptitude to use a computer with a mouse and a keyboard data entry
