Paraprofessional

Responsibilities: - Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and educational activities - Provide support to students with special needs, including behavior management and individualized instruction - Collaborate with the lead teacher to develop and modify curriculum based on student needs - Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students - Assist in the supervision of students during classroom activities, transitions, and outdoor play - Help maintain a clean and organized classroom environment - Communicate effectively with parents and other staff members regarding student progress Requirements: - Literacy education or experience working with literacy programs - Experience working with students in an educational setting - Knowledge of behavior management techniques and strategies - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written - Familiarity with special education practices and accommodations - Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team - Experience in lesson planning and curriculum development is a plus - Education or experience in early childhood education or toddler care is preferred We offer competitive compensation and benefits packages.
