Description
SIU School of Law is currently seeking adjunct faculty who are interested in teaching Advanced Appellate Advocacy or other courses in our upper-division program.
This is a part-time, non-tenure track, term faculty appointment.
Examples of Duties
Classroom instruction and other duties as assigned by the Dean.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) or an equivalent degree from a non-U.
S.
law school (i.
e.
LL.
B) that qualifies its recipient for the practice of law in the country in which it was granted.

Minimum five years legal practice are required.
The minimum years of required practice maybe waived on account of exceptional circumstances, such as outstanding law school performance or an advanced degree in a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior law school teaching or legal training experience and a demonstrated interest in training law students are preferred.
