SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE:
An Office Manager is responsible for general office operations of the store.
Duties will include communicating with department heads, coordinate and oversee administrative duties, and ensure the store operates efficiently and smoothly.
A successful Office Manager will perform the following tasks/duties in a way that promotes H&R Agri-Powers mission to provide quality products/service at a fair price to afford a reasonable return on assets.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Overseeing general office operation.
Perform receptionist duties; greet visitors, and answer phones etc.
Distribute and prepare inter/intra company mail.
Receive and sort incoming mail and deliveries and manage outgoing mail.
Ensuring all new hires are provided with the proper employment documents, verifying and organizing paperwork, and distributing to corporate.
Supervising and training administrative staff and delegating assignments to ensure maximum productivity.
Assist with timecard processing of all store employees.
Manage store supplies inventory and place orders as necessary.
Coordinating appointments and meetings; managing staff training schedules and travel arrangements.
Closely work with corporate departments to communicate employee changes, coordinate travel arrangements, and accounting inquiries.
Balance cash receipts, credit card receivables and prepare and deliver bank deposits.
Provide invoices, reports, or other documents as needed by each department.
Maintain a positive, professional, and safe work environment by interacting with peers, management and support resources in a way that promotes teamwork and a commitment to excellence.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
High School diploma or Equivalent.
2-year degree in Business Administration or related field preferred or not required.
2-5 years work experience in administration and/or office management.
Requiring experience with Microsoft, Work, Excel, and Outlook.
Customer service experience is required.
Experience in Agriculture is preferred, but not required.
