*Description of Position*
Franklin Hospital is seeking applicants for a Full-time Clinical Informatics Specialist.
Position assists in the design, development, and ongoing modification and enhancements of Franklin Hospital clinical computer systems.
Works closely with clinical staff on the use and operation of the clinical computer systems and provides trouble shooting and education/training on such systems.
Position is M-F, days, with occasional adjustments to schedule as needed.
*Qualifications*
Position requires current clinical licensure in the State of Illinois in an allied health field, current BLS certification, and 2 years prior work experience in a hospital or medical environment.
Also requires strong customer service, teamwork, and communication skills, attention to detail, accuracy, and strong knowledge of clinical computer applications.
Current State of Illinois RN License, ACLS certification, and previous clinical informatics experience preferred.
