EMPLOYMENT SPECIALIST POSITION
Perry County Counseling Center, Inc.
is seeking a *part time* employment specialist.
Job duties will include, but are not limited to, providing direct client services in the areas of employment counseling, performing client needs assessments, vocational evaluation, employment preparation and training, referral to community resources and support services, conducting groups for individuals seeking employment, providing support for individuals to manage their health, mental health or other disabilities in the work or educational setting identifying program eligibility and/or job development/placement, and performs related duties as required.
The duties will also include possible crisis coverage as well as treatment team participation.
The job description will be discussed in its entirety during the interview.
We are looking for someone with great communication and listening skills, a recovery-oriented mindset, and excitement about job development.
Marketing and sales experience, and/or a background in mental health/human services are a plus.
Minimum educational requirements: high school diploma or GED.
A bachelor’s degree in human services field is preferred.
Successful candidate will have pro-rated PTO and sick time.
Hiring is contingent upon background checks and drug testing.
